Several of us fished today using thumpers and splashers with shad and slabs. Plenty of nice box fish and Ed found one 8lb over. Fish were everywhere and hungry! I had Mike and Mike with me and little Mike outfished both of us. He put 6 of the 16 fish in the boat before we ran out of bait and called it a day!

I did a video from last weeks trip. I had taken the hammer out of my thumper and forgotten to put it back so didn't have my thumper but used the splasher and my friends thumper to call in fish. Bait depth control and fresh bait were critical to success. We easily missed as many fish as we caught but Mike and Mike had a great time... https://youtu.be/gy0DlaQtzYY

This was Ed’s graph today. I think he caught 40. We have been trolling and thumping with shad or artificials... https://youtu.be/BLHohXJWark

Drifting not driving will keep the school in tact.

Guys fished yesterday using thumpers with live bait and slabs, sassy shad and trolling and caught fish all ways. They CPR’d a nice 31” over!
