I saw them back in the 80s as well. Super talented band that didn’t get the notoriety they deserved.

saw Triumph at the 83 texxas Jam. Hagar came on just before Styx at the end. Ted Nugent and Rik Emmett joined Sammy Hagar on stage in Dallas for their version of Led Zeppelin's "Rock 'n Roll." so awesome!

My group went down on the field once Styx started that stupid mr roboto carp. When they started playing renegade the crowd pushed toward the stage.

For the most part.
Saw them around 2002 with REO Speedwagon at the Bell county expo. Great show for REO, Styx=blah.

Anybody remember these guys (Toy Matinee)? Real interesting story behind them, their main guy (the late and uber-talented Kevin Gilbert) and Sheryl Crow, her first album...etc.
