What is the lowest level you can use the ramp and get out of the cove without hitting the sandbar or getting stuck? The level -1.97 at this time.

Depends on your boat. I have a Lowe 18’ aluminum and can get through the shallow water slowly with the motor raised. Go through the shallowest water in front of the Oak Harbor boat ramp. I launch at Oak Harbor. I won’t be able to get out if it gets much shallower.

Yikes. The lake has gone down farther than I thought. I thought your -1.97ft was a typo. I wouldn't want to try to pass through that area in anything bigger than my shallow running boat at slow speed or with the trolling motor.

I went out today and the water in the shallow area was about a foot or less deep. I was able to get through by manually holding up my trolling motor. I don’t see how a larger boat could get through. I towed a smaller boat that got stuck in that area while I was out there. We need some rain. It was interesting to see areas of the lake uncovered by the low water level. Now I know why I lost some lures in those areas earlier this year.

It's real shallow there and FishAdmirer is right, its less than a foot right there in front of Oak Harbor. Not too much longer and shady grove will be no good to use to get to the main lake unless we get some rain. I was talking to a yaker that had a motor on the back of his kayak and he almost got stuck himself. Seen some boats try to run on plane through there and it didn't work out real well.

Twin Points is $10 during the week and West Bay is always $10. Easy on and off worth the $
