He was to quick for me two weeks ago and ducked my arrow sending it through his backstrap. Didn’t know if I had killed him or not. Checked camera cards and found he was alive and had hit another stand. Closed the deal with an arrow through both lungs last night.

Chris, was the broad head still in the strap? Had the deer completely healed over?

No it passed through and had healed over on the outside. Looks like it knicked the top of the spine. He ducked on that first shot.
