So, I’m getting pretty frustrated. I have an 06 Ram 2500 with death wobble. I’ve put a brand new Carli track bar on it and completely new steering linkage. Still have death wobble. Here is video of my components moving. Let me know if you see something off. My ball joints seem to be shot, yes? Lots of vertical play, but would that cause death wobble? Also, the pictures of my tires show my front tires (worn heavily on the outer edges) vs. my rear tires. I just got this truck like a month ago, so don’t know history on tires other than what I see. The tires were made in 2017. After installation of the steering linkage, I got an alignment, and still the death wobble is there.

Put that Go Pro camera underneath aimed at the ujoints of each wheel and make the death wobble happen, then study that video. What speeds do you get this? No tread separation on either of the tires? Pretty cool videos so far. Wheel balance? Alignment good?

Slipped steel belts on nito grappler tires caused my death wobble on my ‘08 2500 4WD mega cab. Have you had the tires checked for slipped belts?

Just keep replacing sh-t until you get it fixed the approved shade tree mechanic way or take to a real mechanic and get it fixed right the first time.

Did it do the death wobble when you test drove it or start after you bought it?

Steering stabilizers are a bandaid masking the problem not a fix.

Yep, in an already failed situation like this, the root cause has to be found. I do like a good dual steering stabilizer though, when all components are tight and in good order, they are the icing on top.
