The people of San Antonio aren’t able to make their own decisions? And, if not, why does a half-arse attempt at a curfew matter? It’s a feckless and worthless attempt at making decisions for people that only accomplishes furthering the Covid restriction fatigue. It does nothing to help “control the personal well being of their citizens.”

And “control the personal well being of their citizens” is contradictory. People are capable of protecting themselves. It’s not the government’s job to apply blanket restrictions (that won’t even do anything except inconvenience people and are unenforceable) to an entire city.

We got the news as we were pulling into SA tonight. Bexar County can suck it. I came to party.

I still have sharp memory of blatant disregard and zero enforcement of “curfews” during the peaceful rioting, burning and looting a few months ago - are these the same DA’s who were looking out for the personal well being of “their” citizens?

People, you need to fight against it, If you do not stand up against tis garbage as well as the masks that make matters worse, then you will give up all your freedoms 1 at a time. I avoid Bexar County as much as possible, there is a spirit around it that is not good and pushed by the liberals that keep getting elected.

Not in agreement with a curfew at all... but I have to ask this. If people continue to not do the right things to control the spread are the government officials supposed to sit back and watch hospitals get overloaded, numbers explode, and do nothing? Just let this deal run rampant in the name of freedom? They’re not going to come out and say they don’t know what to do, they’re just going to keep trying whatever they can come up with to try and help the situation. Is the curfew the right answer? I don’t think so, but I don’t think doing nothing and just saying “Merica” is the right thing either.

I know a guy that was convinced the government was just trying to get more control of his life. Refused to wear a mask or follow much of any of the guidelines, always leading the way with the taking my freedom argument. Died from COVID, left behind a wife and 2 young daughters. His Facebook page is full of conspiracy stuff about the gov using the fake pandemic to take control of our lives.... right up to the last post that says Charlie passed today due to complications from COVID. Those 2 little girls don’t deserve this... wonder how that freedom tastes 6ft underground.
