Gonna have some downtime this week with family and thinking about hitting Ray Roberts.

I have only been there a few times, putting in at Pecan Creek and fishing the Lone Oak Rd bridge and Buck Creek working the 377 bridge and timber to the east.

I haven't seen a report in a while and wondering if anybody was doing anything on RR? Hoping for some positive updates to convince us to make the trip!!

Any better areas to target other than the 2 I mentioned above?

Thanks in advance!

We caught 16 on Saturday. 1-2 keepers per spot and several minutes between bites. Folks are stacking up on the bridges, so I’m guessing they’re catching ‘em there.

I fish Pecan Creek and the west side and it has been really slow for me. I’m sure a few guys know how to catch them right now but I’m not one of them. I took a guide trip weekend before last and he said it has been slow as well.

I did catch a personal best 2.25 pounder on a Corp pile Sunday, but that was the only crappie for the day. Apparently the creek bite (in general, not just ray bob) is on right now so that will be where I go next time out.

If anyone else has intel on Ray Roberts please chime in.

Thanks for the updates. We have spent the last few months in Southern OK and the lakes i usually fish here have the potential for lots of bites, but smaller fish. My brother in law says he wants to catch some bigger ones....might just have to make the trip and see what happens!
