Predicting the locations of large schools of bass in deep water and then finding them is more like hunting than fishing, I guess you really never stopped to think just what is meant by fishing?

Free country, I don’t tell you what to do or not to do, if you don’t like my opinions based on my experiences then don’t reply, nobody cares

I’m just trying to help you catch more and bigger fish, why persecute me?

I’m sure these guys are better fishermen than me, better at presenting a lure to the fish, I never claimed to be super fisherman, and obviously much better and smart with the electronics, I don’t even know which way is up, we can all improve, and broaden our horizons, there’s more to it than busting banks and fishing the scattered 5 percent in the shallows, that’s all I’m saying

Supposed be friends on here, why all this competition, there’s plenty of lake and lakes for everyone, most guys hide these secrets, some like me are generous and want everyone to catch a bunch. No one is forcing you to believe it, or even to read it. But knowledge is the key to consistent success, no one can deny that! No reason to be offended, or to have an attitude, just cos you don’t know about something doesn’t mean it’s not true! Live and learn say I, I wish someone should teach how they fish jigs, i could learn a thing or two, love them finesse jigs but I’m no expert.

I've been fishing a local lake (I say local but it's about an hour's drive away, but this is Texas) mainly with a jig, the bite has been really good. Everything I've caught has been in 6 to 8 feet of water off points and rip rap rock. The water temp has been in the mid to high 60's. This is usually my most productive time of year; especially for numbers. Once the water temp falls into the 50's it drops off.

R.I.P. gruber. We hardly knew thee.
As for bass, I’m going to head out later today and see if I can find some. Then, I’ll maybe have an answer. Even if it’s to “where AREN’T the bass?”
