So confoozed

the new ones are smaller- the older ones were bigger...much....and made of steel... and as somene who drives a tahoe- i believe the "proper" term is "full size" for the examples you listed....considering a rav4 is considered a SUV- I think my description is fine....

im not an expert in air matress sizes ---- if thats the only part of the story that confuses you- you're better off than me.

Mountaineer/Explorer are in the same class of SUV, size wise. Next step up would be expedition and Escalade-style vehicles.

Air mattresses follow the same size as regular mattresses. A twin is a twin and a queen is a queen. I’ve never heard of or seen a king sized air mattress. I’d consider a queen to be large and a twin to be small, since it’s for one person.

Did he look like any of these guys? Was he towing a "rolled up carpet"?

I seriously would have called the PD. There's no way something that off wouldn't trip my radar. Hopefully this guy was just out for a midnight run to his stills. AHAHAHAHHA

Sounds like a burglar. Probably using the mat to slip in undetected.

We need better context FishingDonk. Draw us a 3D build diagram of the air mattress boat thingy. And use the following webpage to create a composite sketch of the perp. I’m sure someone on this forum knows him.

I contemplated calling the DCSO non emergency line to report it- both times. When he left- and when he got back.... I really did....And then in my mind - I was like what is my call going to be " A guy just went into the lake on a blow up air mattress" - I don't know- the whole thing was just too weird in retrospect.... at the time; it was funny. Looking back on it- he was probably dumping bodies....

I never thought of the burglar aspect - there are a lot of houses on the water.....that's interesting....

4) He did multiple trips from his vehicle (barge parking lot) to the lake.... He parked very close to the barge. So its a very short walk to the water.....100 feet max? Maybe less.

More details please...

Multiple trips before he went out, or when he got back two hours later?

Multiple trips from his vehicle, empty-handed?
However, multiple trips from the water/mattress/lake to his vehicle, empty-handed?

...------

On the serial killer theory, the cooler was probably only big enough to hold one body part/limb at a time. Therefore, in order to dispose of the entire body, he had to make multiple trips.

I saw him go up and down - but I really wasnt paying much attention to him....if you are familiar with the barge ( they werent allowing indoor fishing) I was near the crack everyone fishing for crappie - standing on the corner watching the parking lot- looking for my buddy to wave to him ( he had never been there before) So i dont really have any more detail.... at the time it was just "characters" of the night..... the multinle trips between his "boat" and car- were only to set up- and break down.....once he left- he was gone for a solid 2 hours- we jokingly said " I bet he's dead" --- yeah--- in hindsight the entire thing was just weird.

I texted my buddy who was there with me that night----and a buddy who used to work at the barge..... see below:

1. If he seemed organized, it was probably not his first time.
2. Go back, fish, he'll probably do it again.
3. He was dumping or retrieving in the lake
4. If he was stealing from docks, you'd have noticed.
5. Is there a tournament coming up? Hoarding bass for cheating?
No, probably not 5. He'd have a real boat for this.

6. Yep, he's dumping body parts or getting rid of a bag of puppies that his daughter wants to keep.

I took (or tried to take) pictures of it happening, so i could show my buddy....this is only picture that you can even kind of see anything....date of the photo is Nov 6th and its time stamped 9:57PM...

OK- so where I am standing- the photo- is the barge --- if you see the small red light on the middle left of the picture- that's a traffic cone--- and to the left of the traffic cone is him on the his air mattress

The white pick up truck parked on the hill going down, belongs to the employee who was working there that night (at least I think so, because when I left the employee was sitting on that truck and smoking a cigarettes' )

All of 20 feet behind the white truck- is the parking lot......as you can see- its not very difficult to get down to water----

bass master was on lake lewiville this weekend- but the guy didn't come back with any fishing gear.....also didn't see him leave with anything.... and yes- he appeared very calm, cool, and collected.... I'd be pooping myself if I was about to set out on a two hour lake ride on an air mattress....lol

"the new ones are smaller- the older ones were bigger...much....and made of steel..."
I'm having a hard time following. Was this quote describing the blow up mattress?
