Is a 9” big enough or do you need a 12” screen ?

By all means buy the largest you can afford.

Two guys that have fished with me on my boat bought 10 inch to save some coin and have both sold them and went to 12 this year.

Ive got my 12 inch elevated about 14 inches above my deck and its a lot better to reach down and adj the distance as well as see it while standing bass fishing.

I have mine on a 10" and a 12". I would save up and get at least a 10". I've never heard of anyone that has bought a 10 or 12 and said "I wish I'd gotten a 9".

How much is the difference but if it was me I would go with the biggest screen possible that I could afford because you will see all the detail better.

You will find the 9s are not quite big enough. You can get by but it is a strain at best. The 16's will change your world in what you see and how well you can define what you see. Knowing what I know now the 9s are not enough.

9 is fine and worth the price! I can never justify an extra $1000 for 1” of screen [Linked Image]

Had a 9 inch for a over a year. Works fine for me. I have it mounted on a Balzout I think either a 12 or 14 inch long mount and it works great. You'll be glad you saved the money. Can't go wrong on the 93SV on sell at BPS.
