I was unable to follow the details/notes/posts on Lewisville this weekend. For those of you who were able to get out and follow some of the pros around, what were your observations? Results speak for themselves..I can tell it was super tough. What did Brandon D do on day 1 that was different from day 2? Was the final group on Saturday all over the lake or did they hone in on a specific area? Did the dam get hammered? I went back through the pics and never saw the dam in the background. I didn't see too many pics with guys fishing the marina slips either.

I watched a little live, Hackney and the guys that won were sharing water in the same creek, seemed kinda like a cr@p shoot other than that so observation... Loserville sucks?

I followed Brandon early day 2. The Dill hole went dry. I think the deeper water bite , while still there was year round fish. They were caught and the spots did not replenish fish. He didn't catch all his fish deep either. The creek bites were places where the fish were replenished. As the fish cruised up and down the creek, they grouped up on ambush spots. Those ambush spots were the some of the best spots to catch fish. Many times Lewisville is defined by a 100 yard strech of active water, find that water and you have a great day. I think low population of largemouth compared to white bass and hybrids has alot to do with how the lake fishes. I was sure the marina and dam were dead going into this.
Woke up this morning Got yourself a gun....

I think all these lakes are fishing tough becuase of COVID pressure. Heard it took 8 pounds to win a little tournament at roberts a few months ago. I went for the first time in 5 months the other day thinking it wouldnt be too crazy and coulnd barely find a place to park. These local lakes have just gotten beat to death and the fish are feeling it. Yall get your [censored] back to work lol

Its crazy how the pressure has sustained, as the weather got nice again in the fall it went up again something normally hunting season take the pressure off of but not this year. Something about covid just seems to make people want to go out and fish, I had a buddy tell me the other day Fork this year has gotten pounded harder than a 2 bit whore.
