Yes it is already Thanksgiving week. Chances of rain Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We NEED IT!  Who is going FISHING!

Will be fishing this week. Hope to fish some favorite spots before the winter patterns set in. As for Thanksgiving Day? I will be eating plenty of Turkey!

I am going to be in Athens and if I get some free time will put the tube out. But the wife is already saying she has a lot of things she wants to get done before the colder weather hits so I may not have the time. Late Nov isn't a real good time for the gills on that lake but I can usually get into some crappie and bass. They don't stock trout there until early Dec but they are stocking here in Amarillo on the 25th but I won't be here.

I am. Not sure where to go. Out of touch with bass fishing in the last few years. I live close to Lake Brownwood, but sure would like to go to East Texas, my old home.
In remembrance of my lifelong friend Jerald, king of the topwaters on Lake Fork...2nd to none....In God's care and our hearts.

Steve, did you fish for the gills much the last time we were there? Were the ones you caught grouped up or did you catch them one here and one there? Im going tomorrow and will try for some if the bass do not cooperate.

Tom...I am going tomorrow a well...Probably see you at Oak Thicket trying to avoid the buzzards. Last week the bluegill were all in one spot in around 15 ft of water. I did not spend much time targeting them...maybe an hour or so.

My wife just notified me that she has come down with something that has her throwing up and diarrhea so she said to stay here in Amarillo. They are stocking trout on the 25th so I will be there for that. Probably go deer hunting on Thanksgiving since I will be alone.

Will be chasing the big kittys, and trying out my new fish finder Thanksgiving day, tomorrow! Also going to Ray Roberts on Sunday, for some splat fishing.
