Saw a story on News Max that there is going to be a Nation Wide Truckers Strike next week. "Trucker's For Trump" are protesting the election results. According to national poles 3/4 of the truckers voted for Trump!
Side Note: According to the news story the truck drivers say they need law and order in the major cities they deliver to. They also think the election was rigged.

That will leave a mark, the good news is the drive between Dallas and Houston should be a bit smoother

I'm all for it, but it will be the owner operators who carry the ball, cuz company driver's can't afford it. That being said they sure as shootin' can get behind a couple slooooow moving 18 wheelers that they can't get around.

Protest/Strike is set for Nov. 25-29 (depending on group) - Sounds like they just want to have a long Thanksgiving weekend too.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

This will accelerate the push for automated computerized robot driverless delivery vehicles. I am concerned as skilled driving accounts for about 20% of our workforce.

Wow. This would have a major effect on the supply chains. Talking about shortages! Side Note: I can see the panic on toilet paper.

Wonโt happen. For every truck that parks there are 2 more willing to run that load for less money.

I'm having a truck load of stuff being picked up in Chicago right now with stops in Tulsa, E-Town and Austin. Took my broker 10 minutes to book the load. There were multiple drivers that wanted it.

The truckers will just hurt themselves if they do. Stupid and won't change anything, but hey, if they want to strike, lose out on that money and accomplish nothing.. I say go for it.
What a maroon!

More loads to bid on w:o being under cut by the bottom feeders
The need for add on loads will increase on demand

Ridiculous. Both sides have a fair amount of crybabies. Do your job, go home and drink beer.

80% of the truckers we book arent even American. This will be an extremely insignificant number of truckers that strike, if any.
