The only lake where I have caught yellow bass, is lake fork. Don't really know the best one.

Most area lakes have yellow bass except Texoma. Used to catch a lot in Richland Chambers and Cedar Creek but in the last two years the numbers seem to be way down. There were times we would have to move because of to many yellow bass being caught but not lately. The few I have caught didn't look good.

Never caught one on Lake Lewisville & have been fishing there since the 1970's. I do not recall catching one on Grapevine either. I always thought it was strange that yellow bass were everywhere but these two lakes. I agree that they make great table fare.

Ray Hubbard is full of them. Take all you want. I've caught them on Hubbard and Lavon. But I've caught most out of Hubbard. I'm with Champ, go to Hubbard.

I used to catch a lot of big ones in lake Livingston trolling a rooster tail behind a canoe when I was a younger. They were as big as the whites.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!
