Local stick Brandon Dillard hammers em today with an 8-11 Big Bass today on Lake Lewisville. Way to go buddy!

Him and Shipe used to dominate Lewisville, Grapevine and those area lakes on a regular basis...

He’s been doing it out there for many years, no doubt. Look at the standings. It sure helps put things in perspective as to how hard the fishing was for most of them. It was fishing super tough last Friday. My buddy and I are kayak anglers. Humbly I will say we are both good bass fisherman. We had no bites.
Week before (so two weeks ago) I had about 13 pounds in 4 hours. Something changed and it got tough.
Those numbers are impressive by the leaders there! But I also see tons of zeros. Feast or famine.
