That may be too big. I would think that it might be hard to cast unless you use a weighted float. And if you haven't figured it out, there be piranhas in the TFF pond.

I think it is too big. Maybe shoot for a light action spinning rod, 4-8 lb test line, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 jigs. Where are you going fishing? Also, no more pictures of your room except a picture of that lady.

What brand of moisturizer is that on the night stand?
A little bit of lotion is good for cork handles, but not the EVA foam on that rod.
Agree, get a medium light spinning set up with a size 2000 reel and 6lb test for crappie fishing. You'll have much more fun.

If yall think that room is messy you should see my kids' rooms.
Catfanman, I would have a hard time casting a light lure with that. You may want to use a spinning reel instead.

Often goes on sale at Academy for $30 ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/11/full-30144-74538-dockshooter.png) In just about every Walmart fishing section (also at Academy) ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2020/11/full-30144-74539-pfluegertrion.png) For a spinning reel and crappie/other pan fish, I really like 15lb braid to 6ft leader of 6lb test, but to keep it simple 6lb test in anything other than Berkley Vanish and Omniflex would be fine.
