Strange things do happen fishing. Yesterday I didn't see a single sign of a bass or sunfish or any kind. I did, however, catch a couple catfish on a trout spoon if you can believe it. Aside from them I saw no fish at all. They must have been really hungry to chase a spoon, I think that's a first! The water felt really warm, so maybe temperatures fluctuating had something to do with it.

Nice report. I have not fished Converse in awhile. That lake gets fished heavily.

There was some good sized bass in that lake, but as mentioned it gets a lot of pressure and a lot of those fish end up in the skillet!
Just one more cast!

Been fishing Converse a lot. Have good and bad days. Lake has a lot of fishing pressure. I am surprised there are some good quality fish still there. Side Note: I saw a sign at the Converse South Lake saying Catch & Release only. Wonder if this will take place at the Converse North Lake as well.
