Mine has started turning on in the off position. If you wiggle it side to side it goes off. Connection or bad switch. Its a 2016

Mine was doing the same thing. The connector on the back of the switch was loose. Remove the plate from the bottom of the pedal and you will have access to it. Was a simple fix.

Mine did the same, it was fixed under warranty. The tech said that lots of them have that problem, he knew what it was when I told him about it.

The switch is like $1.99 at just about any auto parts store. Nothing special about it. It isn’t the switch that is the issue though, it’s the 1/4” female connectors that are used. Pull the switch, tighten up the 1/4 female spades by slightly pinching them with some pliers, then reconnect and reinsert the switch. Did mine 3 years ago and it hasn’t happened again since.

Yep. Same thing happened to my ultrex. Called Minnkota and they shipped a replacement switch out. Replaced in 2 minutes. Problem solved

How did you get it out? Looks like you have to remove the foot control and access from the bottom!

Or use a small flat blade screwdriver and pry up the short ends of the switch. It really takes about 30 seconds and 0 dollars to fix.
