Was just in Grapevine today, playing some music in that little park there by Texas and Main St. Lots of folks walking around and touring that little winery there. It is a cool town.

Quitman reminds me of the town I grew up in. Bicycles on sidewalks. Miss the bar where a real young guy could get a root beer in a frosted mug.

I mentioned Terlingua earlier, also Chigger Ridge and Mud Dig are the type places that I like, but Uncertian rates high too.

We moved back to my hometown of Nacogdoches a few years ago after retiring in Dallas. We enjoy the town and the area.

Any where within 1 hour around San Antonio. I grew up in Boerne back in the 70's, Uncle still has a large ranch in Comfort.

Used to hunt in that area at a place called Twin Sisters. Beautiful area.

I've been spending more time in Llano recently. It's got a good vibe, a lot going on these days. Hopefully Austin doesn't take over that town, but I see it coming.
