I had ordered a MG tour pro that now is not out till next year(several dates changed!) Can I get some input on the Lowrance Ghost (good and bad)
so I can make a decision. Any help would be appreciated!

I’ve had one since April and love it. It’s quiet, fast and the anchor works perfectly. Pedal is very smooth and responsive for me. I have Gen3 graphs so I have no input on the other features you can use with the Carbon or Live units. I’ve used the Ultrex on other boats and it’s a good motor too but to me the Lowrance is just more comfortable to operate but I’m a Lowrance guy if you run Birds then the Ultrex is probably best for you. I also like that it doesn’t weigh as much as an Ultrex. Just my opinion.

Happy with mine. More quiet then my previous ultrexes. Lots of power. Only got 2 months on mine though.

Here is from initial review from last December.

https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/13397910/1

Since it's been roughly the same thoughts. It's been tough and haven't had any major issues.

The only problem I had was that the motor would not auto correct and level out when stowing but between the Lowrance Tech and I we figured out that there is a Bow Offset Calibration that's not in the manual. Once we calibrated then all was good again.

Bow offset calibration :
PEDAL CALIBRATION:
Initial calibration
1: Hold #1 and anchor Until lights flash
2: Hold anchor and #3 Once the anchor button flashes do a complete pedal cycle Reach down and point the lower unit (Prop) towards the mount
3: Hold anchor and #3 Until anchor button is no longer flashing
4: Hold #1 and anchor to exit.

Also, there is a new membrane that goes in-between the directional arrow and magnet that frees it up a lot more so there is no more sticking.

Lundy, where do you live? If you’re in South Texas, you’re welcome to try mine out.

thumb I’ve had mine for a year now, it’s been good. I initially had an issue because I did not do the proper calibrations, finally got them both done and it spotlocked great. Now it does make a funky noise when I hit brush and stumps with it. As of now, I’d buy one again. I don’t have mine linked to the graphs, so I can’t say how those features are.
