I'm working on a prototype casting net that deploys just milliseconds before it hits the water. Looks like a Manns E-Z 30+ crankbait but it's 30 feet around and retrieves just like a 1/2oz spinnerbait... Release date is undetermined, but once it hit the market... Miller Time... Dan Put me down for one.

Do the major tours also ban the Alabama rig? I know BASS did. Not sure about MLF. I don’t recall seeing anyone using it on any of the shows.

FLW banned it too, be interesting if they change it now that MLF owns them and MLF has always allowed umbrella rigs I think

Pretty sure the anglers in the BPT voted AGAINST using A-rigs.

I know I've seen them use them on MLF before, must have been the older shows

To the op this is actually a good question and the first time I have heard it asked. Many people are dismissive of this until they watch somebody snag 25 pounds in front of them and their tune will change quick. This will come up in future tournaments guaranteed.

I’m planning on selling my deck and console units and switching to straight Livescope up front....
...new game plan is pull up to a spot that looks good...idle around til they show up on the screen.

This is funny. I challenge y'all to go out and try to snag one. Good luck.

Thank you, the question popped in my head watching the bassmaster show on ESPN3 replay. I feel the naysayers on this thread haven't used this tech yet(I know I haven't} or they have a advantage they don't want discovered before its closed, like the guy said about the paddle fish I bet it can be done.

We've seen guys shove weights in fish, put them in baskets, keep them in the garage, etc. You can bet your butt if you can snag fish using the livescope somebody is going to do it.

Good thing Mike Long didn’t have livescope!

I've had one since before they came on the market, I don't think there is a human on the planet that could snag a bass intentionally using legal bass baits and livescope. You would have a lot better chance of getting them to bite a bait, it would be a huge waste of time. Now if they were using a 5 ounce weight and a giant snagging hook like they do for paddlefish, they might luck out and get one every now and then. I doubt it, but it's probably not impossible.
