Meeting a buddy who lives up past Weatherford so it’s a toss up between Bridgeport or Hubbard Creek Thursday morning. Any very recent info on either? Thanks, Neil.

I like Bridgeport more but that’s just personal preference. I haven’t figured out the grass at Hubbard creek.

Yep, the amount of grass can be overwhelming on HC for sure. Any up to date reports for either lake?

Right in the middle of those lakes sits a great lake - PK
The dock fishing has been really great lately - Plum colored drop shot, or T-Rig a Blue Fleck of Motor Oil Red Flake Power worm.
And if you can throw a Alabama Rig along the bluffs or rocky points, tip one of them with a white jig head the rest with a black or just plain lead 3/16" jig heads with V&M swim baits.

And the Deer are in full rut, be prepared to see some awesome bucks early. Ben seeing a lot of injured bucks lately from all the fighting and rutting goin on.

Bridgeport has been off and on I fished it last Wednesday only boated 5 fish 4 keepers though, my son fished a tournament there Sunday and had 9 lbs and it took 11 to win , I have not been to Hubbard Creek since early October . But as said before PK is there also its a big lake and a lot of places to fish.
