Wondering your thoughts or reviews of Bass Pro Brand lures. Specifically crankbaits and topwaters. Success, performance pros and cons. Thanks.

In general, not as good as the Academy H20xpress brand. The BPS/XPS brand just looks and feels cheap with poor split rings/hooks etc.
Nothing wrong with the BPS soft plastics though.

I agree with the above post...H2O Express are much better. Landed a 12-3 on them.

I agree with the above post...H2O Express are much better. Landed a 12-3 on them. I think H2O lures are fantastic but he is asking about Bass Pro Shops lures. Seems to me that they have at least 2 different series of lures. XPS and XTS? One of them, I think the XPS, is a good lure. Take a look at "The Egg". It is a fantastic subsurface lure. Those lures they have in bins in the aisles are junk. JMO.

every now and then they have a good one. many of those lures are made by the same and sold by different names. just like southern plastics ie.

I'll buy every Balsa Boogie crankbait the TFF can dig up at double the original price if it's in good shape.
