I need a smooth liquor that still packs a punch, like at east 80 proof. Buying as a gift for someone who still drinks with heartburn. I don't necessarily agree with it, but this is Merica and it's a free country. They do mix their drink with sodas or club soda and this person also prefers Zimas with a jolly rancher etc.. Do rye tend to be smoother? Please advise.
