I’m sitting here watching the BASS tourney on Fork wishing I was crappie fishing instead. I am on day6 of my COVID journey and am starting to finally feel better, Hopefully y’all had a good weekend of crappie catching, someone give me a good report.

I'm at day 3. Not that bad so far. Hope I can isolate on my boat in another couple of days.

Limit of Crappie and Hybrid on CC. Beautiful day on the water with light winds and smooth water.......until the pleasure boaters and jet fleas started at about 1 PM. Chop became so bad, I was airborne more than a few times on the run in. As more sea walls go up, the waves get more dangerous.

Well, I was on Cedar Creek like Ztech, and he is right about the pleasure boats and fleas... but I had a hard time of it. Found a few nice fish, but was very slow...
Ztech - tell us more please! Any details about your crappie on CC? I was fishing up near Gun Barrel. Twin Creek 198 bridge and deeper brush... marking fish, just not catching fish.
COVID friends - stay hydrated and take vitamins. I had it pretty bad back in July. Beat it. Prayers to all with it.
Stay safe - tight lines!

You probably saw me. red and black Ranger with a yamaha. I was in the same area but on the main lake near deep water but fishing in 14-16 ft brush piles.

Ztech,
Probably did see you. I was fishing deeper brush, maybe too deep. I was also in deeper water around bridge. Just swapped from Aluminum Tracker to Tritoon, and cant get in under some of the shallower bridge areas as easy any more...
Will get my electronics on the big boat soon, and start looking for more brush.
Take care,
Ken

A buddy and I fished Lake Cypress Springs last Friday. Caught 28, with 10 of them being over 13". 12-15 FOW on brush. Using minnows and jigs.
