Where can I find live bait, specifically, shiners near Lake Aquilla? Iām making a trip with my father for the first time in what has been too long and hope to encourage the bite. Thanks in advance.
That's why they call it fishing and not catching!

Try poor boys propane in Peoria on 22, at the cut-off to the Dairy Hill ramp. He usually carries bait, only open till 1200 on Saturdays and closed Sundays though.

The poor dude's power went out and all his new shipment of minnows were belly up.

Minnows? The non-plastic kind? Thermocline produces some good plastic colored minnows..
