Got out and pulled boards with my 4 yr old fishing partner. Bait was easy in 10 ft. We started out in 5 ft and was marking good fish but couldn’t get em going. Bluebird skies and no wind made for some sluggish fish this morning. Moved up the lake into 20 ft but couldn’t find anything worth throwing down on. Move again and finally found a big pile of good fish in 25-28 ft. Pulled boards through em and caught a couple of teeners, a 20, and a 54 lbr for the big fish. We been after a fish that outweighs my son and today we finally got it done. We missed another 50 right at the boat that I fought for over 10 minutes. What an incredible bluebird trip. My fishing buddy Paul was in his boat right next to us and we both got it on video. Should be some good footage of the toad as well as my screaming curse words when I lost the 2nd one. We’re off to a heck of a start!

Thanks Amigos! Were gettin lucky as all get out. I got 3 boys fishing on the boat next weekend so I’m praying we can keep it rollin and get them a memory fish.

I marked bait and fish in 5 ft out to 35 ft Ken. There were eaters everywhere we looked. We checked 4 different areas and scanned for a good hour and a half before we finally found some bigger fish. Lake Lewisville can be a tough Bluecat lake but today we got lucky and were able to get some things going.

Solid post, solid fish, and some "Lifetime Memories"! Good job.
