I will be retiring soon and I will be putting new graphs on the console and bow and a new trolling motor with spot lock on my G3 19' 10'' aluminum boat. Of these two trolling motors Minn Kota, Lowrance which in y'alls opinion is the better of the two. What graphs would you purchase for the Lowrance or Minn Kota? I know they have similar features but how user friendly are they. Funny thing when I told the wife what I was going to do she didn't have a problem with it, still trying to figure that one out.

I think you are going to generally just get Ford vs Chevy type answers here as both brands are plenty capable and it will just come down to personal preference. Whichever motor you go with I would get graphs that are compatible with it and have networking capability. I am currently switching over to Birds from Lowrance because the boat had a brand new Ultrex on it when I bought it.

I went from minn kota to garmin, 3 graphs, livescope and force tm, couldn't be happier.

of the 2 you listed (and I hate to say it) lowrance has the brushless motor like my force, super quiet and much easier on your batteries.
