Hello TFF Members, During this time of year there are many lures that can work well. A dropshot is a great way to entice stubborn bass to bite in tough fishing conditions or on heavily pressured waters. Check out the video below to see the dropshot setup I like to use on Lake Fork for offshore largemouth bass. Thanks for watching and good luck fishing!

Had good success on Fork pitching the drop shot to wood too and letting it fall straight down the trunk with a light weight.

Stephen, looking down the mouth of the bass in your picture it looks to me that it needs to be fizzed before releasing.

Good video...but I need to agree with the fizzing statement. Hopefully she was immediately released and went back to home to regulate.

Thank you gents, I made sure to release her quickly and she swam back down just fine. It was a great fight that lasted over 90 seconds, all it takes is one lucky cast on Lake Fork! This catch made my day, it's why we all love to chase after these green fish.
