Crankbaits on the north side of the lake along the rocks. Topwater in the creeks.
It's been slow for me but picking up.

It was a decent day yesterday. Boated 9 in 5hours with two overs. I think I fished every point on that lake. Prolly scratched out around 11lbs. I know it was better than my last few trips out. Late summer and early fall bite has been a beating for me...

Iโve been getting beat down there lately, I was there Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday caught a few little ones. It was a mega grind.

Not sure about it being good in the backs of creeks lol, but Iโve still caught good fish all week even though itโs all over the lake. Most overs have been pretty shallow

Yesterday was very slow, only caught 3 small fish with 1 large crappie covered a lot of water with very few bites

Exactly! I stunk it up real good on Friday. Wednesday, I had a rather decent day. I fished same areas that were productive two days earlier on Friday and ended up with two little babies. At least I'm fishing, I guess.

I thought I saw your boat on Friday. Are you fishing early or late?
Friday morning was a beating for me. The 1 18 inch fish I caught was fat and happy. Finding shad is not a problem for the fish right now.

I fished from mid morning until mid afternoon and I feel fortunate to have caught two very little swimmers. Why didn't you holler?

I fished from mid morning until mid afternoon and I feel fortunate to have caught two very little swimmers. The gusty ESE wind since Friday isnโt being friendly either about fishing the areas you need to be fishing
