I am getting an intermittent alarm beep only when I hit waves and rough water. On smooth water nothing. Had a friend in the boat yesterday and he thinks it may be an alarm short under the dash, I wonder if the engine oil tank may beep when I hit rough water and the flow valve doesn't read oil or when it gets sloshed around. It is a single beep if that.
Thoughts?

Check oil cap and make sure tank is full.

Boatman,
Oil cap was super tight and tank is full. Boat just re-wired to cranker and TM batteries so those connections are solid. Any other thoughts under the dash maybe?

With the motor running on a hose, crack open the oil cap and let it fill until it pukes. Any air at all in the tank will cause it to yak at you.
