I totally forgot the Elites are on Fork this week.. and I have been getting some feedback that a "True" Fan of the sport would not fun fish a lake while the Pros are there...

So, I am curious of what everyone on here thinks about this topic...I know there has been discussion about this before on here...that being said, would you still go fish the lake this week and weekend?

just don't follow a pro and camp out on his spots. Otherwise, I see no issue.

Go fishing, just try to give them room.

Go fishing.

Just don't move in on a spot you saw them catching them on and fish after they pull off. That is just low-rent IMO.

Go fishing, enjoy the day, and watch / learn from them, but please don't poach their spots

I never poach anyone's spots... regardless of you being a pro or not... Hole Buzzards are not appreciated in my eyes!

It’s a free country to do what you want still. Personally I wouldn’t want to take a chance of affecting the outcome. Guys are fishing for $125,000 and that’s life changing for someone’s family.

Same for me, I would go somewhere else.

Go fish. Just give them the same respect that hopefully you would any other boat on the lake. If you're a fan of pro fishing maybe give them a little extra, like letting them go around and fish in front of you if one comes up behind you. If they come in where your at wave them in and let them go. Watching what they do is pretty informative. I think all they really expect to the most part is to not purposefully get in their way or steal their spots.

What Ken said, just go fish and give them space.

It's four day's. There are plenty of East Texas lakes that are honestly fishing better than Fork. I would go fish something else for the day and let the Pro's have it. I plan to go trail a few for a few hours but I will not pull a rod out. My plan is go early and drink coffee and watch.

Bring your Binoculars!

I was out there today. There is plenty of water for all to fish.
