How many of you have fished any online tournaments this year?

Such as Connect Scales, Fish Donkey, TourneyX...

With this crazy year of 2020 that seems to never wanting to end, a lot of tournaments I normally fish were being cancelled or postponed.

Still having that itch to fish tournaments, I found that there were a lot of online fishing tournaments. Some competing with just a hand full of anglers to one that had over 200 anglers across the US and Canada that were participating. All were catch and release, some were public waters only and some were any body of water that you could fish. With the live updates while fishing, you could see where you were at in the standings at anytime. I had a lot of fun being part of this new experience.

Below are a couple videos showing the catches of the last online tournament I was fishing. Also in the first video, I show how the Connect Scale app works and how to submit your catches. Included in the second video is how I screwed up one of my catches to submit.

Would like to here of anyone else that has fishing any of these types of tournaments.

Be safe and thanks!

I fished the last TourneyX, probably won’t fish another one since I am in region 1 and figured out I don’t have access to the size fish to compete with the slot fish on Fork which are legal to weigh in their format. They need to follow state regulations not just blanket weights.

I think it would be better to keep your best 5 in the live well till the end of the day and then do all this phone work once you are through fishing.
