That somewhere in the lake at all times its going off one after another (cast & hookup wise based off obviously certain locations and baits) or do you think if it is slow it can be slow everywhere .

I think it depends on location, conditions and presentation more than anything. In a tournament one guy catches 30lbs some catch nothing on the same lake at the same time.

Someone is ALWAYS catching them.

Who knows some lakes are huge toledo, big Sam etc. they are like many lakes in one, lower section middle section and upper section, some creeks can be clear or muddy warm or cold all on the same lake, freezing at the dam but boiling at the hot water discharge, but certain areas seem to hold fish year round especially if the winter and summer are mild and stable

Fish are feeding somewhere on the lake.

I also tend to believe if I am around fish, they too will eventually feed.

So when times are tough, I tend to sit tight on what I feel are high potential areas and throw everything I can think of at them. If I catch 1 or 2, I might leave and try to duplicate it.

But I might be doing it wrong, maybe the answer is to cover water.

A fish is a living creature. They all don't follow the same book. Just because you might be hungry don't mean that I am. Same with fish. There are fishing feeding somewhere in a body of water everyday. Now it just might be a very very small feed window
