Great review so far. The rep seemed to know more about his boat than most. Very impressed with both the rep and his boat.

That boat was more impressive than I thought it would be. It seemed to ride pretty dang good too.

I can tell you fishing from a Blazer 625 Pro Elite all summer, the Blazer brand is very impressive. The 625 handled everything we could throw at it and then some. The 650 Pro Tour is going to be even better... cant wait to take a ride in one. Damn good review too.

The backwash on a Blazer is no joke, I have been sitting in waist deep water from it before lol. But you can buy a clear, lightweight plexiglass shield for all the fast boats to prevent or cut it way down. For what it's worth, my step dad spends time in every boat manufacturing facility and says Blazer is definitely one of the best deals in the market.

Looks like Blazer has sold 54 boats in 2020 and 42 in 2019. They are starting to sponsor some pro anglers so those sales numbers will grow.

The supper low gunnels on the front would keep me from buying one. I would kick stuff over the side left and right lol

Been meaning to weigh in but the sudden need to make an income in the insurance business has me sidetracked. Nothing about the boat felt cheap to me, actually lot of guys have whined about plastic on some other brands, I saw zero plastic on this boat, very clean lines. It does backwash, especially the first time i slammed on the brakes, so that would take some getting used to, but some things about this boat I liked that , and a couple that need improvement, I'll cover all in part 2 hopefully have that up this weekend.

I ran a Blazer years back. Visited the Blazer Factory in Florida. Used to talk to the owner Keith Kraft from time to time, my guess he still owns the company. One thing about a blazer, they are laid up good, always have been. Thick glecoat, easy boat to buff a scratch out of. My old Blazer had the roof of storage bulding down on top of it during Hurricane Ike years back. Fiberglass place I took it to said, this is a blazer they are laid up as good as any. My old Blazer had stiched edge carpet, it was a really nice boat. It was a good boat, I liked it but that was in my go fast days years back. I had a 300 HPDI on a 201 Pro, it would put a 29 pitch 4 blade against the limiter. Someone asked me how fast it ran, I said not sure was to scared to look at the GPS!
I heard a lot good about the new big blazer, pretty fast for a big water boat, which I understand them to be. I see a few 625s on Rayburn, but never seen the new 650. I'd like to see one.
They aint cheap thats for sure, like all the rest they cost big money. If I ever get a new boat I may look at one.
Blazer in the past used really good seats, they didn't make their seats, they buy them from that high end boat seat company or they used too.
Thanks, Billy
