Well here goes it... Cataract surgery in Webster. Got to be at the hospital at 0615. I have to put these two types of eye drops in my right eye 4 times a day today.
Should be out of the hospital about 10am. Curious about the wearing of my glasses. How does that work until I get me left eye fixed?

Remove the lens from your glasses on the side where you're getting the surgery. It may take a few hours but once the vision in that repaired eye clears up, you'll automatically adjust to using it as your dominant eye. The surgery and recovery is a piece of cake.

I'm 52 and had mine done at the beginning of this year. absolutely best thing I've done.

Surgery and recovery are both easy. Make sure you understand and remember the indicators for a detached retina, which happened to me about a year after surgery. Got to move quick if that happens.

Iโ€™m a couple of years away if I had to guess. Dr is watching my right eye, he said I have one that will have to come off some day.

Thanks, Billy

best wishes.

I wish I could have that surgery, but with my previous optic nerve surgeries and the extreme astigmatism I can't do it. I can do a lens implant, but it's like $8k per eye
