I have done Ron Speeds for the last three years. Twice at Salto and once at Comedero. Every year has been exceptional. Fishing was awesome. Accomodations are excellent. We go end of February. I have never done Anglers so I will not compare the two but I know you can't go wrong with Ron Speeds IMO.

I have not been with Ron Speeds, but I can tell you for sure, go to Salto and let Billy Chapman's staff spoil you rotten. Everything is great there.

Is lake Guerrerro still a hot spot?
In the 90's I went multiple times but I am out on leaving the borders of the USA these days

Lake makes a difference.
El Salto: Anglers Inn/4 star resort
Pacahos: Ron Speed is better facility

For what it's worth, my wife and I have been to Anglers Inn properties close to 20 times. We are headed to El Salto end of next week. If that's the route you decide to go, happy to answer any questions. In the meantime, here's a general guide to fishing in Mexico that we put together: Ultimate Guide to El Salto and Picachos

The wife and I want to go down to Mexico bass fishing,, who should we book with Speed? Angler's inn?? Do you know the difference in the lakes or do you care? One lake is superior for numbers while the others are unique in different ways. Each lake goes through hot streaks but none quite compares to Baccarac if you want a double digit fish. If you are just going for the experience, they are all a blast. You'll eat well and catch fish until your hands hurt. I've been going for fifteen years now and can answer most questions about most of the resorts/camps if you have specifics. You've mentioned two great ones already so you're on the right track. Guerrero- very inconsistent, still has some monsters though picahos- great for numbers..lots of 2-3 pound fish, not a good chance at a 10 el salto- good for numbers, lots of 5-6 lb fish decent chance at a 10 comedero- good numbers, lots of 5-9 lb fish..decent chance at 10 baccarac- good numbers, great quality, lots of 6-9 lb fish ,good chance for a 10
this is how i would rank them in this order

I am adding Lake Oviachic; just so you know. This is a long trip; as we drive into the lake. It takes 11 days; but we get 6 days of fishing instead of 3 for less money. We catch 100 per day for each boat with 50 over 5 lbs.. I have been going for 35 years and it is a wonderful trip. We have never had a problem and I take care of business as any other fisherman would to help you be successful. I do not charge for the trip we all share the expenses while at the lake.
Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success. this is how i would rank them in this order I'd say that has been exactly my experience though I've never fished Guerrero.
