 Recommended Minn Kota service center?

I’ve got an Ultrex that the steering locks up whenever I use the momentary switch to give it thrust with my foot. Otherwise it works fine on spot lock. Thrust, steering, and spot lock all work fine with the remote.
I can steer with my foot or thrust with my foot but if I do both with my foot, the steering freezes. If I power off and back on, it is back to normal until I use the momentary button while steering with foot.
I’m willing to drive 100+ miles so metroplex authorized service centers are welcome. I just want to get it taken care of by someone who isn’t going to keep my boat forever.

All-Star Marine is where I’ve taken my TM’s. They just moved offices to Garland.

There is a Minn Kota repair at Boat World : 303 W Central Texas Expy, Harker Heights, TX 76548 : (254) 699-9151, this is where M K told me to take mine too.

place on fork behind lake fork resort that will fix it darn near immediately if he has the parts. call him. might have to call lake for resort, I don't know the business name or number. ive heard nothing but praise. might be worth an overnight stay to fix the troller and fish the lake.

The place at lake fork is Texas trolling motors, 5004 N FM 17, Alba, Tx. Phone # 903-850-4477. My steering chip was replaced in under an hour while I waited. It is located in a small building behind lake fork resort. They are good. They were recommended by minn Kota.

Had no problem at all. It was warranty work and they did it in 4 days. There is a Minn Kota repair at Boat World : 303 W Central Texas Expy, Harker Heights, TX 76548 : (254) 699-9151, this is where M K told me to take mine too. How was your experience with them?
