Still have several hitting my feeders so I keep fresh food in the feeders. Are these resident birds that need to be cut off so they'll migrate? Or are they stragglers from up north that can use the extra boost on their way south. Crazy that they're able to survive those low 40 degree nights.

Mine left me here in East Texas 2-3 weeks ago. Don't worry about pulling your feeders. They will leave on their own. I don't pull all of mine until at least a week after seeing the last one at the feeder.

I haven't seen any in a couple of weeks.

I did notice a good number of monarchs heading South this morning.

^^^ this

I've had 'em here until frost . I keep a few feeders out during the winter so the bees and butterflies have something to eat when we get a warm spell .

I still had some at Falcon Thursday and it was cold. Not as many as before.

Ours left about 2 weeks ago. We are already looking forward to March.
