I need a thermostat installed. One with WiFi. I need it installed pretty quick.
My 25 year old thermostat needed batteries, and now the plastic is so brittle that it won’t snap together. I’ve got a display so it might be functional but I want it replaced. I also want my heat strip looked at to make sure both elements are working.

If I can install a Wi-Fi thermostat, you can too! Pretty simple swap out unless you have an unusual HVAC system. Amazon sells the Honeywell 9000 and 9500 series Wi-Fi stats for under one-fiddy.

I didn't know he lived in Ennis. Didn't see the word "forsaken" in there anywhere?

Like said earlier, should be just 4 itty bitty wires. Dont let a small T-stat get to ya. It's 24V even, it wont hurt you.

I’m in Rhome.
Yeah I worked on that heat strip way back. I remember that it had two elements. Our air doesn’t seem warm enough and the thermostat cuts off too soon. Yeah, I did that stuff back in my day, but those days are past. I can’t stand steady long enough to install the thermostat and if stressed, my hands shake. Plus, there is a possibility of new thermostat having a five wire system, then you gotta know stuff I don’t.
Main thing, I just don’t wanna mess with it!
