I think linking TM's to graphs is over rated. Had an Xi5 connected to my Lowrance and never used the features. I now have an Ulterra with link and a Helix. Don't use it either.

I dont know if you have researched the 360, but I believe you have to have Solix or Helix graphs with Mega imaging...just in case you have older Humminbird graphs...the I Pilot link will still work with older graphs, I dont have the 360 but I do have an Ultrex with I pilot link and really like the follow the contour and circle your waypoint features...but it depends on how you fish...I have heard great things about the 360 too...

I would get both each one is a great tool. But if I had to choose, it would be the 360 great too.

I have both and I would go with the Mega360. I will say that I am using the follow the contour and circle features more and more. Those require the lake master card also.

Run the best of the best....Run Garmin with live scope as your main system and Hummingbird with 360 on the bow. I just wish I could afford it.

mega 360 for sure
I seldom use follow contour its not as convenient as they make it appear, you have to zoom in on a contour line, pick one, select which way your going to go etc. Then when your fishing if you want to vary the speed of the tm you have to do it slowly or it will drop following contour. It is easier to make adj while using follow contour on the large remote you can spot lock, resume, subtract distance from the contour or add distance etc.
Basically its easier to use your tm on auto pilot and adj it as needed now and then to change direction a little, you can use the remote, pedal or micro remote its very convenient. You definitely dont have to stand on the pedal very often if you dont want to.
fishing w out 360 once youve had it is strange, its like just randomly casting and seems like nonsense vs casting to a rock or brush you see or one stick up etc.
Ive got two live scope on the bow also but dont always even use them .
