Fished with Doc today from daybreak until the cold front blew through at 3:30. Water temp was 78-79 degrees in the 5 main areas we fished. Overall the fishing was excellent today, especially for bass. We ended up with 40-45 bass, 7 or 8 Rios & maybe 10 sunfish that were mostly small. Our timing was spot on today with overcast skies, mild wind after 10 am, and a cold front knocking at the door. Bass were caught on Tsunami swimbaits & Culprit worms as you can see in the photos. Side Note: It will be interesting to see if the Rios will stay around the rock beds throughout the winter. hmmm

A great time on the water yesterday at Fayette with Steve. The pre-front bass bite was hot in the afternoon. Steve gave me one
of his Tsunami baits to tie on and that got the ball rolling for me. One of the best bass days for me ever. The bass
were fat as butterballs and fought like crazy. We both had bass jumping over 2 feet in the air ! Lots of fun !

Nah ! It's just the heavy clothing you are waring Steve! hmmm

Side Note: Thanks for the Rio reply! The rock bed would be a great place for the catfish to hangout. thumb

The GREAT year continues. The "Masters of Fayette" keep on keeping on! Great job guys!

Side Note: Got a feeling I will be seeing a nice winter catch of "Fayette Deep Water Bluegills" in the near future!
