I have fished Lake LBJ often since 2008. I just returned from 9 days on the lake. It is my first trip there since the flood of 2018. Has it been your experience that the fishing has changed since the flood? I caught very few largemouth bass and those I did catch were very small (9 inches). If you have fished Lake L.B.J. this year, what was your opinion?

I fished it earlier this summer. The image I had on my sonar the entire time was a ghost town. Nothing but water.

We had our club tournament on LBJ two weeks ago. We did fairly well, good stringers, BB was 6.30. The big ones are still there, lost a couple, missed a couple. I would show you my 23 lb stringer from our spring tournament but I don't how to post pics from this new laptop. Drives me crazy!!!

It's def changed by the flood with no grass left, but still producing good quality bass. I'd take it over any of the other hill country lakes in this area for sure. Don't get to fish it often but am finally finding them off shore now on a regular basis. I live on Travis, but it's such a dink fest that the 45 drive to LBJ is worth it.
