Do you pay the price on the invoice or are you getting the boats below MSRP these days? Asking for a friend.

With the way boats are selling right now there is little incentive for a dealer to offer a reduced price.

When the stimulus money hit I know there were some dealers that ran completely out of boats of all kinds but watching the inventories it looks like that has created a flat spot in the market short term, I don't see much movement. When and if stimulus #2 hits I figure they'll be another round of mass boat sales and then things may go slow in the market of new boats for quiet a while after that because they'll be a lot of saturation that has to run out. I think that will create a buyers market and discounts will be back. Skeeter is offering rebates right now though.

It has not slowed down post stimulus money. Many dealers are selling boats as soon as they are unloaded from truck.

Nothing is slowing down. We cant keep boats in stock. The reason its hard to get boats in is because a lot of boat builders shut down during the virus and it put them behind.

Dax, I follow Diamond Sports and I see y'all aren't slowed at all. Some of the metro area and dealers in the larger east Texas north Louisiana towns seem to be holding inventory right now or they aren't updating their inventory on the WWW. I have a friend that just bought a boat from Tadpole Marine up at Hugo, Oklahoma and according to what he experienced they were on fire as well.

You're going to pay sticker... Because if you won't the next guy through the door will... About the only way to get a boat cheaper is to keep the add-ons to a minimum... No poles, smaller electronic... Dan

Many are not updating inventory on the internet because people are buying them as they get unloaded from the trucks. They don't last long enough to make it to the internet.

What!!??? There were 5 FXR Skeeters and a Vexus VX21 today at our 20-something boat club tourney. To win MAYBE $500.

I think guys are buying these things just because they can! Price/reward certainly doesn’t factor into the decision. Lol.

I doubt a couple thousand dollar stimulus check is what is driving boat sales, if it is, there will be a lot of bankruptcies in the near future!

Recreational anglers have never bought nice boats with the thought that they could pay for them in club tourneys. People buy what they like and what they want.

Not to mention its a bit tougher to get a boat loan than other loans and most of the people that qualify usually have a good credit score which reflects that they know how to manage their money. I doubt a whole lot ran out and bought a new boat because they came up with an extra $1200 from a stimulus.
