Texoma noob here....Thinking about making the 2.5 hour drive over tomorrow and Sunday. Think this cold front will have them messed up or are they still going? Thinking about launching at Del Ray? Good idea?

Good idea? No way I would go with the wind forecast. It was gusting to 20 by 10:30 on Friday and even the guides headed to the south side.

I don't have a good boat for rough weather so I canceled the trip this weekend and here I sit looking at mild weather LOL .

Went out Friday night and got 10 fish, largest one was 18”. All at Mac creek under the birds. Saturday morning wind forecast was 10mph. Went out at 6:40, hour before sunrise, and it was too rough. Went back to dock and now I’m headed to the west side of lake, because of the strong easterly, south easterly wind....Thanks for the help!

Tomorrow was a toss up between Texoma or Fork with the wind forecast. I think the morning will be ok so Texoma wins. I have not been on the lake in a while but it sounds like north side is producing. Plan is to get some bait and head to the OK side west of Washita point. Fair warning, the North end had quite the boat show going on last Friday. Tons of boats out there fishing. They were there today along with the dinks. When the gulls went to work in Mac creek you could almost walk across the boats. Lol, yep. Common on that lake.
