Jc’s Sportfishing Weekly Fish Report.
As the Admiral Seas It
Fishing Report: 10/18/20 to 10/24/20
Stop by our Office for up to Date Fishing Report

Marlin fishing was slow all week, just a few stripers on my boat this week 3 to 5 miles off the Light House on live bait.
We caught 2 marlins on Sunday, 2 on Monday and 1 on Tuesday.

The dorado fishing has been wide open for weeks, really doesn't matter where you go they are everywhere. Best action at Rancho Migrino and Los Arcos, the bigger fish have been caught on live bait and ballyhoo, most fish from 12 Lbs to 20 Lbs. All the boat post limits.
We caught 28 dorados on Sunday, 40 on Monday, 47 on Tuesday, 19 on Wednesday, 14 on Thursday, 24 on Friday and 12 on Saturday.

Few reports, some big tuna 40 to 50 miles offshore some of the big yachts reported. Most of the charter boat have been fishing just dorado (mahi-mahi) it has been so good.

No reports this week.

Very good for dorado from Solmar to the Light House and hard rock, also good number of skipjacks.

The Bisbee’s Tournament
First time in the history of the tournament there was not a qualifying fish over 300 Lbs Blue or Black Marlin, maybe next year.

Stop by Jc’s Sportfishing office for the up to date reports.

See you all in Cabo - JC.

Jc’s Sportfishing Charters is a family owned and operated business and has been fishing in Cabo San Lucas for the past 18 years. Jerry, explains that his charter business is geared more for families and novice anglers, making sure everyone who charters a boat with him have a great time and lots of fun. We welcome families, and groups. We want everyone who fishes with us to take all the sites in and have a memorable experience. This is what is most important to us. We have and do a few tournaments each year and can cater to fisherman who might be interested in tournament fishing. Well let’s get on with the fishing report for this past week.

From The Admirals Kitchen!
Fish Roll-Ups
Fresh sole filets stuffed with a tender and mouth watering cracker crumb filling. Excellent with steamed white rice.

⅔ cup butter
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 cup minced crabmeat
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
¼ teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
salt and pepper to taste
24 eaches buttery round crackers, crushed
12 (6 ounce) fillets sole
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons butter

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly coat a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray.

Step 2
Melt butter in frying pan over medium heat. Add onion and saute for 1 minute. Stir in crabmeat, parsley, garlic powder salt and pepper and cook 1 minute more. Remove from heat and stir in crushed crackers.

Step 3
Spread mixture over filets; sprinkle with lemon juice and Parmesan cheese. Roll up filets, seal with toothpicks and place in prepared baking dish. Dot each roll with butter and cover pan tightly with foil.

Step 4
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 17 minutes until fish flakes.

Long Island Iced Tea

• 1/2 oz. vodka
• 1/2 oz. gin
• 1/2 oz. white rum
• 1/2 oz. silver tequila
• 1/2 oz. Cointreau
• 3/4 oz. lemon juice
• 2 tsp. simple syrup
• 3/4 oz. Mexican Coke

Shake ingredients (except Mexican Coke), then strain into a Collins glass over crushed ice. Top with Coke and garnish with a lemon twist.

BEWARE: Please beware of the guys in the street selling boat charters. If you wait till the day you are fishing and go to the dock where your boat is many times people will mislead you to another boat or dock trying to put you on a boat that was not meant for you. You need to have a person guide you to your boat, who is from a reputable charter company. This way there is no confusion or misleading. Please remember when renting Sport fishing boats in Cabo that you rent your boat from reputable and established business. Walk into a fishing fleet office and ask questions about what you are getting and what are the costs. You don't want to rent boats from vendors in the streets and you do not want to book through shady websites offering you the world. Check through travel forums about reputable fishing fleets to deal with. Look for testimonials about the fleet your booking, your charter with. Ask about what will the boat be supplying? Will it include beverages or lunches? How much does it cost to fillet your catch? Check to see if charter boat is insured? Ask about getting your catch smoked? Check cost of a fishing license. These are just a few things to consider when booking your charter boat. We will be talking more about this in the next weeks fishing report. Until next time good fishing and we hope to see you in Cabo soon. Come by the office here in Cabo and get all the latest up to date fishing report.
