I'm guessing that the band won't be needed at this week's game or any other. The fans will see to it that "The Eyes of Texas" will be upon everyone.

It will be just like the sporting events where they've announced that the National Anthem will not be played and all the folks immediately started singing it.

EASY, shorten the dang game by 1hr and drop the band. You dont have to have the band there. Alumni will sing it for them. See ya band geeks.

The alumni need to stop donating money immediately. At that point the powers that be will magically grow a pair and do what they should already be doing. If you don’t want to play it then fine. Look out that window there are 1000’s of kids who can play an instrument who would love to take your spot and will play it. It’s real simple and the alumni will demand it with their wallets at some point.

I have a t sip connection who said a few alums put their foot down on the school song or the end zone construction funding will immediately be withdrawn.

They supposedly made it clear that the school song will be played at the game.
