I went to Tackle Warehouse and most of Old Monsters are OUT, Also Mag 2's are mostly gone too. My local tackle shop said he bought all of the last Blue Fleck Old Monsters that was available and can't get anymore. Wow, what is going on ?

I had the same thing happen when I was looking for Mag Flukes in some certain colors. Zoom directed me to this site and they had a ton of what I was looking for. I've bought from them several times. They currently show what you are looking for in stock.

If those are sold out, I turned to the Yum Ribbontail in the 10" size earlier this year in that color and have had some amazing luck with them so far.

There's this thing called COVID. Keeping people home and many are social distancing from the lake. Inventories have been depleted and the manufactures have been working through reduced staff or closed facilities. Many local tackles stores were wiped out early so the online demand has been higher than normal.

They are still releasing new products so I bet they are just behind production wise due to COVID etc.

I don't think what's happening to Zoom is any different from what's happening to other lure manufacturers. Production facilities were shut down for weeks, and when they opened back up they probably took a while to get back up to speed as they adjusted to covid precautions. Plus, people spent more time fishing this spring during the stay-at-home period so they probably went through tackle faster than normal. Increase in demand with a big interruption in production led to the shortages we're seeing now. It's happening with sonar units, electronics, engines, rods/reels, and most tackle makers, not just Zoom. That said, Zoom's shortages may be more difficult to rebound from since every mom & pop bait shop plus the major retailers in the US each have a wall full of Zoom stuff to restock.

I heard that Zoom was going to try to get caught up on baits that sell the best. Everyone has Zoom products so their demand is very high. After they get caught up they said they will start making the specialty baits again. This information comes from a local shop at Lake Fork that orders from them on a regular basis.

Have you been to an academy since covid? The zoom section is wiped out and they can't keep production up with sales, go look at a gun counter too, empty.

When one person on the production floor gets the Rona everyone they came in contact with us quarantined until they get negative test results. Next thing you know 80% of an entire shift is out atleast a couple of days. All manufacturing industries are seeing this right now... seen lumber prices and availability lately?
