I have had surgery on my right shoulder twice. The surgeon says everything is fixed but if I do something wrong like lifting something heavy, sometimes even groceries it will start popping and give me a headache. I will go to my chiropractor and he will pop and area (called it a rib head) and when I stand up the headache is gone and the shoulder joint is tight again. I do rotator cuff exercises and get the occasional adjustment and will not get cut on again if at all possible. The chiropractor I use will send you to an orthopedic surgeon in a heartbeat if he sees something he can't treat, even his own employees. You have to find one that knows his limitations.

the ones that will still manipulate you instead of use that stupid little clicky thingy are the ones I like. had one in edmond that was the only one that ever got my sciatic problem to quit hurting. started with 2 a week for 2 weeks then once or twice a month when I could get there (was still driving the truck).
give him 3 trips and see how you feel, if no improvement tell him and see what happens

Most of them and the spinal alignment is a bunch of Quack BS.
I guess some are good, but most or taking your money and some have been known the rupture a disc with all that bone cracking.
I've had several reptured discs and back surgery. I went to a few but they were snake oil salesmen at best. A good dr. and therpy is best for a hurt back.
Thanks, Billy

I went to one about 15 years ago for some shoulder/back pain. It worked for me. After a few visits, I was fine and still am. My only regret was that I didn't go to him sooner. I put up with the pain for months before my wife finally talked me into it. I think they're probably like any other doctors - there are good ones and bad ones.
You are not a good or nice person.

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

Quacks, peddling the placebo effect. The mind is powerful and the results can be real even though the medicine was not. Respectfully, but the blanket statement of quacks peddling the placebo effect is pure bs.

I go to one as needed. Two years ago, I did something to my back and it hurt to take a normal breath. Hurt to sit, hurt to lay on my back (and I sleep on my side, so that was awful). This happened late Friday afternoon. By Sunday, I was ready for anything. My wife’s boss recommended a Sport and Spine place nearby. First appointment was all stretching and massage. Felt much better after that, and he gave me some stretching exercises to do at home, which I did. Next appointment was more stretching and massage, and then he asked if he could adjust my neck and back. It was great. I went back a year later when I had a similar issue, but not as severe.
I liked that it wasn’t just a bunch of crazy adjustments. He listened to my issue, asked some questions about what I’d been doing (a lot of golf around that time) and started with massage and stretching. I trust him and it’s worked for me.

I would consult a physical therapist. That, and start doing yoga. We all saw how yoga helped Hank Hill.

never been to one, so I can't say they are all quacks, but to me it's like acupuncture, if you believe it works then good for you.
