I am thinking about putting an engine cover on my 200 HP SHO Yamaha. I have it on a Premier Tritoon, and the engine sticks out of the end of the covered dock, along with it facing west and getting afternoon - evening sun. Just want to protect it better.
What is everyone's opinion of the Tuff Skinz - vented, running engine covers? Pro and con? Best place to buy, or do you have to order direct?
Any other brand that you have had direct interaction with, and would suggest?
Thanks in advance all.
Stay safe!
Ken

I have one on my 225 Optimax and have no problems. My cowling looked bad so I put this on instead of getting another cowling. It seems like the mesh vent helps keep dobers out.... haven't seen any inside since I put it on. I am in Dallas so I called them and was able to pick mine up there....

Have had one for years on my 200 Opti. Durable material. Good investment.

Thanks all. I ordered mine yesterday. Only $10 bucks shipping, not worth fighting the Dallas traffic! LOL

I had one but I stopped using it. It was chaffing the the lower cowling... Could neve get the fastening strap tight enough to keep it secure... Dan

They're good covers, and based out of DFW so local money spent!
